To provide a container gripping device capable of conveying a container in a stable posture.SOLUTION: A container gripping device 100 includes a first gripping member 11 and a second gripping member 12 which are openably/closably provided between a gripping position where a container 90 is gripped and a release position where gripping of the container 90 is released and grip a neck part of the container 90 mounted with a cap 95 at the gripping position, and a first gripping body 21 and a second gripping body 22 which are opened/closed with opening/closing action of the first gripping member 11 and the second gripping member 12, and grip the cap 95 in a closed state where the first gripping member 11 and the second gripping member 12 are positioned at the gripping position.
