To provide an electric motor which can stably radiate heat generated in a circuit board.SOLUTION: An electric motor includes a heat sink covering an opening end of a cylindrical resin outer contour, and a circuit board which is arranged in an internal space covered with the resin outer contour and the heat sink. The heat sink has a disk part, an annular projection projecting to the circuit board side in the axial direction from the disk part, and a projection which is arranged on an inner diameter side of the resin outer contour rather than the annular projection, projects toward the circuit board side from the disk part and thermally contacts the circuit board. The disk part has an axial direction positioning part contacting the opening end of the resin outer contour, and the annular projection has a radial direction positioning part contacting the inner peripheral surface or the outer peripheral surface of the resin outer contour.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】回路基板で生じた熱を安定して放熱することができる電動機を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の一形態に係る電動機は、円筒状の樹脂外郭の開口端部を覆うヒートシンクと、上記樹脂外郭と上記ヒートシンクとで覆われた内部空間に配置される回路基板と、を備える。上記ヒートシンクは、円板部と、上記円板部から軸方向の上記回路基板側に突出する環状突出部と、上記環状突出部よりも前記樹脂外郭の内径側に配置され、上記円板部から上記回路基板側に向かって突出し上記回路基板と熱的に接触する突起部と、を有する。上記円板部は、上記樹脂外郭の上記開口端部と当接する軸方向位置決め部を有し、上記環状突出部は、上記樹脂外郭の内周面または外周面に当接する径方向位置決め部を有する。【選択図】図１
