Zusammenfassung:To provide a thick ferrite stainless bar-shaped steel material having excellent intergranular corrosion resistance even in a weld heat affected zone and excellent in toughness in a center portion of a steel material.SOLUTION: A ferrite stainless bar-shaped steel material contains C: 0.03% or less, Si: 0.01-1.0%, Mn: 0.010-1.0%, Ni: 0.05-1.0%, Cr: 10.5-25%, Cu: 0.02-1.0%, N: 0.03% or less, and Nb: 0.10-1.0%, in which in an extraction residue recovered with a filter of 0.2 μm mesh by electroextraction, precipitates of Nb carbonitrides and/or M6C are contained, and an X-ray diffraction intensity of a 112 plane of a Rafes phase is less than 20% of the X-ray diffraction intensity of a 111 plane of the Nb carbonitride.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】溶接熱影響部においても良好な耐粒界腐食性を有し、鋼材中心部の靭性が優れる太径のフェライト系ステンレス棒状鋼材を提供する。【解決手段】C:0.03%以下、Si:0.01-1.0%、Mn:0.010-1.0%、Ni:0.05-1.0%、Cr:10.5-25%、Cu:0.02-1.0%、N:0.03%以下、Nb:0.10-1.0%を含有し、電解抽出により0.2μmメッシュのフィルターで回収した抽出残渣に、Nb炭窒化物および/またはM6Cの析出物が含まれ、かつラーフェス相112面のX線回折強度がNb炭窒化物111面のX線回折強度の20%未満であるフェライト系ステンレス棒状鋼材。【選択図】なし
