Zusammenfassung:To provide a bipolar storage battery, not only having a function to prevent falling of a positive electrode active material layer and a negative electrode active material layer in an electrolytic layer, but also capable of increasing electrolyte mobility within the electrolytic layer in a direction in which a positive electrode and a negative electrode face each other.SOLUTION: In a bipolar storage battery 1, an electrolytic layer 150 of each cell member 140 includes a grid 153 arranged between a positive electrode side separator 151 and a negative electrode side separator 152. The grid 153 comprises a porous body having: a plurality of first openings 153a penetrating in an opposing direction in which a positive electrode 141 and a negative electrode 142 face each other; and at least one of a plurality of second openings 153b penetrating in a left-right direction orthogonal to the opposing direction and a plurality of third openings 153c penetrating in a front-back direction orthogonal to the opposing direction. The grid pressurizes each of the positive electrode side separator 151 and the negative electrode side separator 152, and supports each of a positive electrode active material layer 103 and a negative electrode active material layer 104.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】電解層において、正極用活物質層及び負極用活物質層の脱落防止機能のみならず、電解層内における正極と負極とが対向する方向の電解液移動度を大きくすることが可能な双極型蓄電池を提供する。【解決手段】双極型蓄電池1において、各セル部材140の電解層150は、正極側セパレータ151と負極側セパレータ152との間に配置されたグリッド153を備えている。グリッド153は、正極141と負極142とが対向する方向に貫通する複数の第一開口部153aと、前述の対向方向に対して直交する左右方向に貫通する複数の第二開口部153b及び前述の対向方向に対して直交する前後方向に貫通する複数の第三開口部153cのうちの少なくとも一方とを有する多孔体で構成され、正極側セパレータ151及び負極側セパレータ152のそれぞれを加圧し、正極用活物質層103及び負極用活物質層104のそれぞれを支持する。【選択図】図2
