To provide an exhaust gas cooling device capable of easily cooling exhaust gas from the center of an exhaust passage.SOLUTION: The exhaust gas cooling device for cooling exhaust gas passing through the exhaust passage includes a turbulence generation member having a bar-like part extending from the inner wall of the exhaust passage to the center of the exhaust passage for generating a turbulence flow with the exhaust gas hitting the bar-like part.
