To reduce the deviation between the detected value of an air-fuel ratio sensor and the actual air-fuel ratio of exhaust gas.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine includes a turbocharger, a catalyst, and an air-fuel ratio sensor 40. The catalyst is located on a downstream side as viewed from the turbocharger. The turbocharger includes a turbine housing 60 and a turbine wheel 91. The air-fuel ratio sensor 40 is located between the turbine wheel 91 and the catalyst. The turbine housing 60 includes a guide 65 protruding from an inner wall surface 75. The guide 65 is located between the turbine wheel 91 and the air-fuel ratio sensor 40. When viewed in a direction along the rotation axis 91A of the turbine wheel 91, the distance between a longitudinal first end 66 of the guide 65 and the rotation axis 91A is shorter than the distance between a second end 67 of the guide 65 and the rotation axis 91A.
