Zusammenfassung:To enable Z floating with a compact structure.SOLUTION: An electric connector is structured so that a mating connector is fitted and connected to a movable housing. When a fitting and connection direction is a vertical direction, an intermediate part comprises: a first elastic part connected to an upper end of a fixed holding part and extending inward in a lateral direction; a first wide part connected to an inner end of the first elastic part and extending upward; a second elastic part connected to an upper end of the first wide part and extended outward in the lateral direction; a second wide part connected to an outer end of the second elastic part and extending upward; and a third elastic part connected to an upper end of the second wide part and extending inward in the lateral direction. An inner end of the third elastic part is connected to a lower end of a movable terminal part. At least any one of the first to third elastic parts can permit to be elastically deformed while narrowing a width by the first and second wide parts. By this elastic deformation, the movable housing is relatively movable in the vertical direction against a stationary housing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】コンパクトな構成で、Zフローティングが可能な構成とする。【解決手段】可動ハウジングに相手コネクタが嵌合接続されるように構成されており、この嵌合接続方向を上下方向としたときに、中間部は、固定保持部の上端に繋がって横方向内方に延びる第1弾性部と、第1弾性部の内端に繋がって上方に延びる第1幅広部と、第1幅広部の上端に繋がって横方向外方に延びる第2弾性部と、第2弾性部の外端に繋がって上方に延びる第2幅広部と、第2幅広部の上端に繋がって横方向内方に延びる第3弾性部と、を備え、第3弾性部の内端が可動端子部の下端と繋がる。第1~第3弾性部の少なくともいずれかは第1および第2幅広部より幅が狭くて弾性変形を許容でき、この弾性変形により、固定ハウジングに対して可動ハウジングが上下方向に相対移動可能である。【選択図】図1
