Zusammenfassung:	To provide a sound masking structure capable of effectively suppressing hearing noise and conversation in adjacent chambers, with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A sound masking structure (2) comprises a first chamber (11), a partition wall (20) provided between the first chamber (11) and an adjacent second chamber (12), and a ventilating fan (30) that is provided in the partition wall (20) and generates an air flow from the first chamber (11) to the second chamber (12) to ventilate the first chamber (11), where ventilation sound generated by the ventilation fan (30) is masked by covering the ventilation sound with sound leaking from the first chamber (11) to the second chamber (12).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】簡易な構成で、隣り合う室の物音や会話が聞こえることを効果的に抑制することが可能なサウンドマスキング構造を提供すること。【解決手段】サウンドマスキング構造（２）は、第１室（１１）と、第１室（１１）と隣り合う第２室（１２）との間に設けられる仕切り壁（２０）と、仕切り壁（２０）に設けられ、第１室（１１）から第２室（１２）に向かう空気流を発生させて第１室（１１）の換気を行う換気扇（３０）とを備え、換気扇（３０）から発生する換気音を第１室（１１）から第２室（１２）に漏れる音に被せてマスキングする。【選択図】図１
