COUGH PREDICTING DEVICE, SPLASH BLOCKING DEVICE AND COUGH PREDICTING PROGRAM

To provide a device capable of properly coping with occurrence of predicted cough and accurately predicting occurrence of cough of a patient or the like, for preventing splash timely, at only required timing.SOLUTION: A cough predicting device comprises: imaging means for imaging an observation object person; and surface displacement amount calculating means for the observation object person. The surface displacement amount calculating means calculates a surface displacement amount of a neck part of the observation object person from the image acquired by the imaging means, and the cough predicting device predicts occurrence of cough of the observation object person by detecting a peak from a waveform output from the surface displacement amount calculating means.
