Zusammenfassung:	To provide an apparatus for processing information that allows for simplifying loan application.SOLUTION: An apparatus for processing information comprises an acquiring section that acquires information about the applicant's address, date of birth, annual income, housing expense and family structure as data for examination simplified with unnecessary items excluded, upon applying for loan of a loan applicant and an estimating section that estimates the ability of the applicant to repay the loan based on the data for examination. For example, the acquiring section, or the apparatus for processing information, acquires information about the loan applicant's housing expense.
