EQUIPPING ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR EQUIPPING CONNECTOR HOUSING

To enable calibrated gripping by detecting a position and a rotational position when an end of a cable with equipment is inserted into a connector housing.SOLUTION: An equipping arrangement (1) includes an equipping gripping unit having a cable gripper (5) for grasping and gripping a cable (2) and an actuator for operating the cable gripper (5). The equipping arrangement (1) includes an optical detection device (11) for determining the rotational position of an end (3) of a cable with equipment and has an alignment module (10) for the rotationally alignment of the end (3) of a cable with equipment. The detection device (11) is configured to monitor the opening motion of gripper jaws (6, 7) using the detection device (11), to form an intermediate position.
