Zusammenfassung:	To provide a catheter that allows priming for an expansion lumen to be executed easily.SOLUTION: A catheter 10 including a balloon 21 at the tip part is equipped with an expansion lumen 33 communicating with the balloon 21. The expansion lumen 33 is in a negative pressure state, and the base end part of the expansion lumen 33 is provided with a sealed part 24 for maintaining the negative pressure state of the expansion lumen 33. The catheter includes a long-sized shaft part 20. The balloon 21 is provided at the tip part of the shaft part 20, and a hub 21 is provided at the base end part of the shaft part 20. The expansion lumen 33 communicates with the balloon 21 to the shaft part 20 and the hub 21.
