To provide a liquid composition which is excellent in dispersion stability and coating property, enables formation of a sliding film that has high slidability in addition to low friction and heat resistance as an obtained molded article (burned article) and is excellent in adhesion to a member and abrasion durability, and contains particles of a tetrafluoroethylene-based polymer.SOLUTION: A liquid composition for sliding film formation contains particles of a tetrafluoroethylene-based polymer containing particles of a heat-fusible tetrafluoroethylene-based polymer, particles of an abrasion modifier, an imide-based resin, and a liquid dispersion medium, wherein an average particle diameter of the particles of the heat-fusible tetrafluoroethylene-based polymer is smaller than an average particle diameter of the particles of the abrasion modifier, a ratio of the tetrafluoroethylene-based polymer to the total amount of the imide-based resin and the tetrafluoroethylene-based polymer is more than 50 mass%, and viscosity is 10,000 mPa s or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】分散安定性及び塗工性に優れると共に、得られる成形物（焼成物）として低摩擦性、耐熱性に加えて高摺動性を備え、さらに部材との密着性及び摩耗耐久性に優れる摺動被膜を形成できる、テトラフルオロエチレン系ポリマーの粒子を含む液状組成物の提供。【解決手段】熱溶融性のテトラフルオロエチレン系ポリマーの粒子を含むテトラフルオロエチレン系ポリマーの粒子と、摩耗調整剤の粒子と、イミド系樹脂と、液状分散媒とを含み、前記熱溶融性のテトラフルオロエチレン系ポリマーの粒子の平均粒子径が、前記摩耗調整剤の粒子の平均粒子径より小さく、かつ、前記イミド系樹脂と前記テトラフルオロエチレン系ポリマーの総量に占める前記テトラフルオロエチレン系ポリマーの割合が５０質量％超である、粘度が１００００ｍＰａ・ｓ以下である、摺動被膜形成用の液状組成物。【選択図】なし
