VERTICAL PILLOW PACKAGING MACHINE

To provide a packaging machine that hardly reduces a production speed while effectively preventing biting by enabling arbitrary adjustment of a squeezing condition, in a vertical pillow packaging machine.SOLUTION: A vertical pillow packaging machine 1 comprises: a lateral sealing/cutting section 18 for subjecting a cylindrical film TFi to lateral sealing and cutting at a pair of heater blocks 18a, 18b; squeezing sections 27, 28 moving together with the heater blocks 18a, 18b; a vertical pillow packaging machine control section 40; and a lateral sealing/squeezing condition setting section. The lateral sealing/cutting section 18 comprises a heater block opening/closing mechanism, a heater block opening/closing servomotor 20M, a heater block elevating/lowering mechanism, and a heater block elevating/lowering servomotor 30M. The vertical pillow packaging machine control section 40 comprises a heater block operation control section.
