Zusammenfassung:To actualize easy removal of a roller-cage assembly from an outer ring without destroying a cage from an assembled state.SOLUTION: A cage 15 is provided, comprising a large-diameter ring section 15a on a large-diameter side, a small-diameter ring section 15b on a small-diameter side, and a pillar section 15c spanning an area between the large-diameter ring section 15a and the small-diameter ring section 15b, the cage 15 is formed of an elastically deformable resin, the outer periphery of the large-diameter ring section 15a has a notch 15f with a thickness smaller than that of the pillar section 15c, the outer diameter surface of the notch 15f protrudes from a small end-side width surface 12c of the outer ring 12 when an outer ring 12 and the roller-cage assembly are assembled. When T denotes the length of a portion not protruding from the small end- side width surface 12c, of the outer ring, x denotes a height from an outer ring raceway surface 12a to the tip of a flange section 12b, α denotes the angle formed by a bearing axis relative to a contact surface between the flange section 12b and the end face of a tapered roller 14, and β denotes the angle formed by the bearing axis relative to the outer diameter surface of the notch 15f, the relationship of T>(x*sin α)/sin β is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】組立状態から、保持器を破壊することなく、ころ-保持器アッシーを外輪から容易に取り外せるようにする。【解決手段】大径側に大径リング部15aと、小径側に小径リング部15bと、大径リング部15aと小径リング部15bとの間に架け渡される柱部15cとを備える保持器15を弾性変形可能な樹脂製とし、大径リング部15aの外周面に、柱部15cの肉厚よりも薄肉の肉厚の切欠き部15fを有し、外輪12ところ-保持器アッシーとを組立てた状態において、切欠き部15fの外径面が、外輪12の小端側幅面12cから突出し、外輪の小端側幅面12cから突出していない部分の長さをT、外輪軌道面12aから鍔部12bの先端までの高さをx、鍔部12bと円すいころ14の端面との接触面に対して軸受軸がなす角度をα、切欠き部15fの外径面に対して軸受軸がなす角度をβとしたとき、T>(x*sinα)/sinβの関係を満足する。【選択図】図4
