HAND DRYER

To provide a hand dryer that is easy to hold a dryer spout.SOLUTION: A hand dryer includes: a dryer spout that is installed on a wall part in an upper part of a washbowl of a wash basin and that blows out wind in a wide shape; and an installation member for installing the dryer spout on the wall part. The dryer spout is provided with a box type flat shaped cover having an opening in a rear end. The installation member is a holding member installed in a hole of the wall part, and is provided with a projection protruding from the wall part, with the holding member installed in the hole. The installation member has the holding member which holds the cover, with the projection inserted into the opening, and has a spacer which is arranged inside the cover. A shape of the projection viewed along the insertion direction, with the projection inserted into the opening, is different from a shape of the opening viewed along the insertion direction.
