Zusammenfassung: | To provide a method for manufacturing a radioactive material storage container that, even when a deformation occurs in the radioactive material storage container such that heat transfer members are separated from an inner cylinder, can prevent loss of the contact state between the heat transfer members and the inner cylinder.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a radioactive material storage container includes: a heat transfer member fixing step of fixing first connection parts (9a) of plate-like heat transfer members (9) having a substantially L-shaped cross-sectional shape and brought into contact with an inner cylinder (5) and an outer cylinder (6) to an inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder (6); and a heat transfer member assembling step of pressing second connection parts (9c) of the plate-like heat transfer members (9) whose first connection parts (9a) are fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder (6) against an outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder (5) to bring the second connection parts (9c) into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder (5) while bending to deform the second connection parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
