Zusammenfassung: | To provide a printer which takes usability into consideration.SOLUTION: A printer includes a panel unit that has a display panel, an electrostatic capacity type touch sensor and a panel circuit board, and to which operation information operating a printing unit is input, and a speaker which is stored in a main housing of the printing unit and outputs operation sound, wherein the main housing has a sound-emitting hole for emitting operation sound to the outside of the main housing; the panel unit is rotatably mounted on the printing unit so as to take a first mounting state where an angle formed by a horizontal direction and a normal direction of the electrostatic capacity type touch sensor is larger than an angle formed by a vertical direction and the normal direction and a second mounting state where the angle formed by the horizontal direction and the normal direction is smaller than the angle formed by the vertical direction and the normal direction; and in at least one of the first mounting state and the second mounting state, when the panel unit is viewed from the normal direction, the sound-emitting hole is positioned so as to at least partially overlap the panel unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
