Zusammenfassung:To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of avoiding increase in cost, complication of control and deterioration of responsiveness and securing a high EGR rate even in a high load region.SOLUTION: A valve control section of an ECU closes an air bypass valve (Step S1). In the state where an EGR valve is opened to have a predetermined opening (Step S2), if a differential pressure between the upstream side and the downstream side of the EGR valve in an EGR passage is equal to or less than a predetermined value (NO in Step S4), the valve control section opens the EGR valve to a fully opened state (Step S5) and opens the air bypass valve so as to adjust the amount of EGR gas (Step S6).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】コストの増加、制御の複雑化、および応答性の悪化を回避でき、高負荷域であっても高いEGR率を確保できる内燃機関の制御装置を提供すること。【解決手段】ECUのバルブ制御部は、エアバイパスバルブを閉弁し(ステップS1)、かつ、EGRバルブを所定の開度に開弁した状態(ステップS2)で、EGR通路におけるEGRバルブの上流側と下流側との差圧が所定値未満の場合(ステップS4でNO)は、EGRバルブを全開状態に開弁し(ステップS5)、EGRガスの量を調整するようにエアバイパスバルブを開弁する(ステップS6)。【選択図】図2
