LINEAR DRIVE DEVICE

To provide a linear drive device including a position detection mechanism for detecting the location of a movable body in the axial direction of a feed screw shaft and capable of suppressing the variation of the mounting location of a detector body of the position detection mechanism with respect to a frame of a motor fixed to an upper device in which the linear drive device is installed.SOLUTION: The linear drive device includes a motor having a feed screw shaft and a position detection mechanism for detecting the position of a movable body 3 in the axial direction of the feed screw shaft. The motor includes a frame 14 that is fixed to an upper device in which the linear drive device is installed. On the detector body of the position detection mechanism, positioning protrusions 32a, 32b are formed for positioning the detector body with respect to the frame 14.
