To enable a cut state of glass to be quickly and easily monitored by removing trouble when the trouble occurs in the monitoring of the cut state of glass.SOLUTION: In a process in which a glass ribbon G is molded in a molding zone 11, and is cut by a cutting device 2 along a width direction into glass plates g while the glass ribbon G is longitudinally conveyed by a conveying device 14, a cut state of the glass having been cut can be monitored through a thermography 31, and monitoring timing in the monitoring is set, and also can be adjusted to be earlier or later.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】ガラスの切断状態の監視に支障が生じた場合に、簡易な手法でその支障を排除して迅速に適正な監視を行えるようにする。【解決手段】ガラスリボンＧを成形ゾーン１１で成形すると共に搬送装置１４により長手方向に搬送しつつ、ガラスリボンＧを切断装置２により幅方向に沿って切断してガラス板ｇを切り出す過程で、切断後におけるガラスの切断状態をサーモグラフィ３１で監視すると共に、その監視をする際の監視タイミングを設定し、且つ、監視タイミングを遅らせ又は早める調整を可能にする。【選択図】図３
