Zusammenfassung: | To provide a robot vision system which can deal with any member color.SOLUTION: A manufacturing apparatus manufactures an article by attaching an auxiliary component to a main component directly or via another member. The apparatus has a temporary placement area where the auxiliary component is temporarily arranged, and attaches the auxiliary component to the main component by moving the auxiliary component from the temporary placement area. The temporary placement area has a placement part on which the auxiliary component is placed, and an imaging part which images the auxiliary component on the placement part. On the placement part, a first portion and a second portion having different colors are alternately arranged in the planar shape. The first portion and the second portion are smaller than the auxiliary component. The imaging part performs imaging over a boundary portion between the auxiliary component and the placement part. The apparatus forms a processed image by performing image processing to the image captured by the imaging part such that a color of the portion having the larger contrast to the color of the auxiliary component out of the first portion and the second portion becomes a background, and specifies the shape and position of the auxiliary component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
