To provide an ice making device in which an excessive load is not applied to an ice crusher even in the case where it cannot be determined whether or not crushed ice is full, due to failure of a sensor for detecting an ice storage amount of crushed ice in a crushed ice storage chamber and the like.SOLUTION: An ice making device 1 includes: a control device for performing control of each part of the ice making device; a first ice block amount notification switch for notifying the control device whether or not ice blocks of equal to or greater than a first prescribed amount are stored in an ice block storage chamber; a second ice block amount notification switch for notifying the control device whether or not ice blocks of equal to or greater than a second prescribed amount are stored in the ice block storage chamber; and a crushed ice amount notification switch for notifying the control device whether or not crushed ice of equal to or greater than a third prescribed amount is stored in a crushed ice storage chamber.
