To provide a drive device which enables downsizing, and to provide an electric vehicle which uses the drive device.SOLUTION: A drive device includes: a motor 20 having a motor shaft 21; an output part which outputs rotational force to the outside; a gear part 40 which transmits rotational force of the motor shaft to the output part; and a housing having an internal space in which the motor, part of the output part, and the gear part are housed. The housing has a support member at least partially disposed in the internal space. The gear part has at least one gear shaft 41 rotatably supported by the housing through two bearing parts which are disposed spaced apart from each other in an axial direction.
