Zusammenfassung:	To provide a polarizing plate which is excellent in adhesion and curved surface followability despite its very small thickness.SOLUTION: A polarizing plate includes a polarizer and protective layers provided on both surfaces of the polarizer. The protective layers contain an epoxy resin having an aromatic skeleton and a diol skeleton. The epoxy resin has a glass transition temperature of 40°C or less and the amount of elongation of 1.40 mm or more during a penetrating test.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】非常に薄いにもかかわらず、密着性および曲面追従性に優れた偏光板を提供すること。【解決手段】本願発明における偏光板は、偏光子と、該偏光子の両面に配置された保護層と、を含み、該保護層が、芳香族骨格とジオール骨格とを有するエポキシ樹脂を含み、該エポキシ樹脂のガラス転移温度が４０℃以下であり、突き刺し試験時の伸び量が１．４０ｍｍ以上である。【選択図】図１
