To provide a system and a method for processing item sale information that can deliver an item rapidly regardless of the fact that a time section is for settlement means, by providing approval information for a settlement request and sending a deliver request before the end of the time section for the settlement means at the time of selling an item.SOLUTION: The method receives a settlement request to at least one item including settlement means and settlement amount information, the settlement means being of a specific type. When the time when a settlement request was received is included in the time section for the settlement means, a settlement response including approval information for the settlement request is provided before supply information for the settlement request is received from a first server for the settlement means.
