To provide a charge control apparatus and a charge control method that can prevent resistance burnout while reducing costs.SOLUTION: A charge control apparatus according to the embodiment comprises a resistor circuit whose resistance value can be changed and a control apparatus. The resistor circuit is provided in a charging path that charges a secondary battery from a power supply.
