Zusammenfassung:To provide a depression force detection mechanism for an accelerator pedal which can be retrofitted to an operation pedal, has versatility, and can detect, for example, that an abnormal depression force is applied to the accelerator pedal in a wide range.SOLUTION: A pedal depression force detecting mechanism is characterized by comprises: a membrane type switch 12 arranged along a face of an accelerator pedal 30; a top plate 14 fixed to the accelerator pedal 30 so as to cover the membrane type switch 12; and a load buffer plate 16 positioned between the membrane type switch 12 and the top plate 14, wherein: the membrane type switch 12 is provided with a plurality of contacts 12a1 and 12b1 along a surface direction; and the load buffering plate 16 has a load buffering portion 16a arranged to straddle the plurality of contacts 12a1 and 12b1 provided on the membrane type switch 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】操作ペダルに対する後付けが可能であり、かつ汎用性を有し、例えばアクセルペダルに異常な踏力が加えられたことを広い範囲で検出する事のできるアクセルペダルの踏力検出機構を提供する。【解決手段】アクセルペダル30のフェイス面に沿って配置する膜型スイッチ12と、膜型スイッチ12を覆うようにしてアクセルペダル30に固定されるトッププレート14と、膜型スイッチ12とトッププレート14との間に配置される荷重緩衝プレート16とを備え、膜型スイッチ12には、面方向に沿って複数の接点12a1,12b1が備えられており、荷重緩衝プレート16は、膜型スイッチ12に設けられた接点12a1,12b1を複数跨ぐように配置された荷重緩衝部16aを有することを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
