Zusammenfassung:To more easily achieve a liquid discharge device that includes a rod for pushing a liquid from a nozzle hole and a sleeve to which the rod is inserted, which suppresses release of a liquid when the rod pushes the liquid, by a sleeve.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device 1 has a liquid chamber 7 formed with a nozzle hole 8 for discharging a liquid, a supply passage 10 for supplying a liquid to the liquid chamber 7, a rod 5 that has a tip 5a arranged in the liquid chamber 7 and is movable in an axial direction 2c, an actuator 13 that moves the rod 5 forward and backward in the axial direction 2c so that a tip 5a approaches the nozzle hole 8 at the time of forward movement of the rod 5 and the tip 5a is away from the nozzle hole 8 at the time of retraction of the rod 5, and a sleeve 14 that is supported on the rod 5 through an elastic body 15 and to which the tip 5a is inserted. The elastic body 15 is elastically deformed after the sleeve 14 contacts the nozzle hole 8 at the time of forward movement of the rod 5, and permits further forward movement of the rod 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】液体をノズル孔から押し出すロッドと、ロッドが挿入されるスリーブを備え、ロッドが液体を押し出す際の液体の逃げをスリーブにより抑制する液体吐出装置をより簡易に実現する。【解決手段】液体吐出装置1は、液体を吐出するノズル孔8が形成された液室7と、液室7に液体を供給するための供給路10と、液室7内に配置された先端5aを有し、軸方向2cに移動可能なロッド5と、ロッド5の前進時に先端5aがノズル孔8に接近し、ロッド5の後退時に先端5aがノズル孔8から遠ざかるように、ロッド5を軸方向2cに進退動させるアクチュエータ13と、弾性体15を介してロッド5に支持されて先端5aが挿入されるスリーブ14と、を備える。弾性体15は、ロッド5の前進時においてスリーブ14がノズル孔8に当接した後に弾性変形してロッド5が更に前進することを許容する。ことを特徴とする【選択図】図1
