Zusammenfassung:To provide an incinerator capable of effectively suppressing deviation in a furnace width direction, of waste supplied to a combustion chamber by a refuse feeder.SOLUTION: An incinerator includes: a hopper 1 to which waste is charged; a refuse feeder 2 positioned below the hopper 1; and a combustion chamber 3 to which the waste is supplied by the refuse feeder 2 to burn the waste. The hopper 1 has a hopper upper portion 4 having an opening O for charging the waste and not having a fireproof structure, and a hopper lower portion 5 of a fireproof structure, positioned below the hopper upper portion 4. A movable projection body 6 having a chevron-shaped cross-section having a pair of inclined faces high at the center in a furnace width direction and gradually lowered toward end portions in the furnace width direction, is disposed at a central portion in the furnace width direction, of a lower inclined wall 4A of the hopper upper portion 4. The movable projection body 6 alternately repeats a first motion for descending while moving forward in a direction to project from the lower inclined wall 4A, and a second motion for ascending while moving backward in the direction opposite to the direction to project from the lower inclined wall 4A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】給じん装置で燃焼室に供給される廃棄物の炉幅方向の偏りを効果的に抑制できる焼却炉を提供する。【解決手段】廃棄物が投入されるホッパ1と、ホッパ1の下方に位置する給じん装置2と、給じん装置2により廃棄物が供給され、廃棄物を燃焼させる燃焼室3とを備える。ホッパ1は、廃棄物を投入する開口Oを有する、耐火構造でないホッパ上部4と、ホッパ上部4の下方に位置する、耐火構造であるホッパ下部5とからなる。ホッパ上部4の下部傾斜壁4Aの炉幅方向の中央部に、炉幅方向の中央が高く、炉幅方向の端部に近づくにしたがって低くなる一対の傾斜面を有する横断面山形状の可動突出体6を有する。可動突出体6は、下部傾斜壁4Aから突出する方向へ前進しながら下降する第1動作と、下部傾斜壁4Aから突出する方向と反対の方向へ後退しながら上昇する第2動作とを交互に繰り返す。【選択図】図1
