HOT WATER STORAGE TYPE WATER HEATER

To provide a hot water storage type water heater which has an advantage in easily performing the work of removing fouling between a hot water storage tank and a heat insulation material, in reusing after submergence.SOLUTION: A hot water storage type water heater 1 includes: a trunk part heat insulation material 20 for covering a trunk part of a hot water storage tank 10; a function component group including piping arranged outside of the trunk part heat insulation material 20; and an outer case 60 having a rectangular parallelepiped contour. The trunk part heat insulation material 20 is divided into a plurality of portions which are at mutually different positions regarding a position in a circumferential direction of the hot water storage tank 10. The outer case 60 includes: a first side surface which can be opened when inspecting the function component group; a second side surface adjacent to the first side surface; and a third side surface positioned on an opposite side from the first side surface. In a state where the second side surface and the third side surface of the outer case 60 are opened, without removing the function component group, at least one out of the plurality of portions of the trunk part heat insulation material 20 is removed from the hot water storage tank 10, and the same can be removed to the outside of the outer case 60 from the opened second side surface or the third side surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】水没後の再使用に際して、貯湯タンクと断熱材との間の汚れを除去する作業を容易に行う上で有利になる貯湯式給湯機を提供する。【解決手段】貯湯式給湯機１は、貯湯タンク１０の胴部を覆う胴部断熱材２０と、胴部断熱材２０の外側に配置される配管を含む機能部品群と、直方体状の外形を有する外郭ケース６０とを備える。胴部断熱材２０は、貯湯タンク１０の周方向の位置に関して互いに異なる位置にある複数の部分に分割されている。外郭ケース６０は、機能部品群の点検時に開放可能な第一側面と、第一側面に隣接する第二側面と、第一側面とは反対側に位置する第三側面とを有する。外郭ケース６０の第二側面または第三側面を開放した状態では、機能部品群を取り外すことなく、胴部断熱材２０の複数の部分のうちの少なくとも一つを、貯湯タンク１０から外して、開放された第二側面または第三側面から外郭ケース６０の外へ取り出し可能である。【選択図】図１
