Zusammenfassung: | To solve a problem in which: when a system is employed which takes a position separated by a predetermined distance from a reference position of a device body as a reading position, an attitude of a document changes due to positional deviation and the like when a sheet material is attached to glass, which may prevent accurate reading of the document.SOLUTION: A scanner 1 comprises: a second glass member 16; a body frame 12; a sheet member 26; a document conveying unit 46; a reading unit 20; and a control unit 30. The sheet member 26 is arranged on the second glass member 16. The document conveying unit 46 conveys a document G so that the document G comes into contact with the second glass member 16 at a position H and the document G comes into contact with the second glass member 16 at a position C. The reading unit 20 reads the document G at a position F that is between a first position and a second position where the document G is not in contact with the sheet member 26 and the second glass member 16. The control unit 30 specifies the position F according to the position of the sheet member 26 detected by the reading unit 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】装置本体の基準位置から予め決められた距離だけ離れた位置を読取位置とする方式を採用した場合、ガラスにシート材を取り付けたときの位置ずれなどによって原稿の姿勢が変化し、原稿を正確に読み取れなくなる虞がある。【解決手段】スキャナー1は、第2ガラス部材16と、本体フレーム12と、シート部材26と、原稿搬送部46と、読取部20と、制御部30とを備える。シート部材26は、第2ガラス部材16上に配置される。原稿搬送部46は、位置Hにて原稿Gが第2ガラス部材16に接触し、位置Cにて原稿Gが第2ガラス部材16に接触するように原稿Gを搬送する。読取部20は、第1位置と第2位置との間で且つ原稿Gがシート部材26及び第2ガラス部材16に接触しない位置Fにおいて原稿Gを読み取る。制御部30は、読取部20により検出されたシート部材26の位置に応じて、位置Fを特定する。【選択図】図5 |
