| Zusammenfassung: | To provide a device for a vehicle whose performance can be improved even after shipping.SOLUTION: A device for a vehicle 1 comprises: a control unit 101 that can access a peripheral device 3 and execute functions provided in using a vehicle; a connection unit 5 that can communicate with the control unit 101 and is connected with an external device 2 that can execute the functions provided in using the vehicle; and a determination unit 12 that determines whether the external device 2 is connected with the connection unit 5 so that it can execute the functions. When it is determined that the external device 2 is connected so that it can execute the functions, the control unit 101 enables the external device 2 to allow execution of the functions, and stops at least one function of functions that can be executed by the control unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
