Zusammenfassung:To set up cuttings as a sample suitable for applying to a mechanical analysis to immediately obtain quantitative geological information which excludes personal dependency at an excavation site.SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a sample for performing observation and inspection of cuttings 1 recovered from an underground in a well excavation; the cuttings 1 collected at each depth are hierarchically sectioned to be stuck to an acrylic plate 2 (a plate) in an order of depth; the cuttings 1 on the acrylic plate 2 are polished by a polishing device to adjust height so that polished surfaces of the cuttings 1 at each depth are aligned with each other; and the acrylic plate 2 with the cuttings 1 after the polishing step by the polishing device becomes an analysis sample.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】カッティングスを機械的な分析に供するのに適した試料としてセットアップし、掘削現場にて属人性を排除した定量的な地質の情報を即時的に得られるようにする。【解決手段】坑井掘削で地下から回収されるカッティングス1の観察・調査を行うための試料を作製する方法に関し、各深度で採取されたカッティングス1をアクリル板2(プレート)に対し階層的に区分けして深度順に接着させ、該アクリル板2のカッティングス1を研磨装置により研磨して各深度のカッティングス1の研磨面が揃うように高さ調整を行い、前記研磨装置による研磨工程を経たカッティングス1付きアクリル板2を分析用試料とする。【選択図】図1
