Zusammenfassung:To provide an outer diameter measurement device of an arbitrary pipe at an arbitrary temperature which can reduce an influence of an error generated by temperature fluctuation.SOLUTION: An outer diameter measurement device includes a first frame, a second frame, an edge detection sensor, a scale, and a calculation device. The calculation device calculates an outer diameter D (T0) of a pipe P at a reference temperature T0 not considering thermal expansion in a state where distances ML and MR between a fixing jig and a reading device are adjusted so that the distances do not change (S1), calculates an apparent outer diameter D'(T1) of the pipe at a temperature T1 ignoring an influence of thermal expansion on the first frame and the second frame (S22), determines a reference position BP on the first frame whose position is not changed even when the thermal expansion occurs using the outer diameter D (T0) and the outer diameter D' (T1) (S31), calculates a correction amount CA using the reference position BP (S32), and calculates an outer diameter D (T2) of a measured pipe P' at a temperature T2 using the correction amount (S42).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】温度変動に起因して生じる誤差の影響を低減可能な、任意の温度における任意の管の外径測定装置等を提供する。【解決手段】外径測定装置は、第1フレームと、第2フレームと、エッジ検出センサと、スケールと、演算装置と、を備える。演算装置は、固定治具と読取装置との距離ML、MRが変化しないように調整された状態で、熱膨張を考慮しない基準温度T0における管Pの外径D(T0)を算出するS1と共に、第1フレーム及び第2フレームの熱膨張の影響を無視した温度T1における管の見掛け上の外径D'(T1)を算出しS22、外径D(T0)及び外径D'(T1)を用いて、熱膨張が生じていも位置が変化しない第1フレーム上の基準位置BPを決定しS31、基準位置BPを用いて補正量CAを算出しS32、補正量を用いて、温度T2における被測定管P'の外径D(T2)を算出するS42。【選択図】図2
