Zusammenfassung:To provide a shock absorber which can adjust a vehicle height as desired without using a tool.SOLUTION: A shock absorber D comprises: a shock absorber main body 1 having an outer tube 2 and a rod 3 movably inserted into the outer tube 2 in an axial direction; a suspension spring 4 composed of a coil spring which is arranged at an external periphery of the shock absorber main body 1; a rod-side spring receiver 5 attached to the rod 3, and supporting one end 4a of the suspension spring 4; an annular tube-side spring receiver 6 screwed into a screw part 2a arranged at an external periphery of the outer tube 2, and supporting the other end 4b of the suspension spring 4; a slider 7 attached to an external periphery of the outer tube 2 while being permitted in only movement in an axial direction; a connection part for detachably connecting the tube-side spring receiver 6 and the slider 7; and a rotation regulation part for regulating the relative rotation around an axis of the outer tube 2 in a state that the tube-side spring receiver 6 and the slider 7 are connected to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】工具を利用せず狙い通りに車高を調整できる緩衝器を提供する。【解決手段】本発明における緩衝器Dは、緩衝器Dは、アウターチューブ2とアウターチューブ2内に軸方向へ移動可能に挿入されるロッド3とを有する緩衝器本体1と、緩衝器本体1の外周に配置されるコイルばねでなる懸架ばね4と、ロッド3に取付けられて懸架ばね4の一端4aを支持するロッド側ばね受5と、アウターチューブ2の外周に設けられた螺子部2aに螺着されて懸架ばね4の他端4bを支持する環状のチューブ側ばね受6と、アウターチューブ2の外周に軸方向への移動のみが許容されて装着されるスライダ7と、チューブ側ばね受6とスライダ7とを着脱可能に連結する連結部と、チューブ側ばね受6とスライダ7とが連結された状態でアウターチューブ2の軸回りの相対回転を規制する回転規制部とを備えて構成されている。【選択図】図1
