Zusammenfassung:To provide a measurement method of the number of living cells and a measurement device of the number of living cells which cause little risk of contamination, and can measure the number of living cells highly accurately by non-invasive means.SOLUTION: A measurement method of the number of living cells includes the steps of: measuring the amount of suspensoid included in cell suspension; measuring the capacitance of the cell suspension which varies due to a life-and-death state of a cell; calculating one or more of the number of living cells, the number of dead cells and the survival rate of cells included in the cell suspension on the basis of the previously obtained capacitance per unit living cell, the previously obtained capacitance per unit dead cell, the amount of the suspensoid, and the capacitance of the cell suspension.
