To select an area where a vehicle is highly likely to travel and output corresponding map information to an automatic driving control unit in a vehicle system.SOLUTION: A vehicle system 1 has: a map processing unit 33 that generates local map data obtained by extracting data of an area close to an own vehicle from high accuracy map data; an autonomous driving control unit 32 that receives the local map data from the map processing unit and controls traveling of the own vehicle on the basis of the local map data; and a map guiding unit 11 that, on the basis of a set destination, sets a route to the destination. The map processing unit divides the generated local map data in correspondence with areas on a map to generate a plurality of pieces of transmission data, determines pieces of transmission data having a distance from the own vehicle equal to or less than a predetermined distance and corresponding to areas including the route to the destination as first transmission data, and transmits the first transmission data to the automatic driving control unit in preference to the other transmission data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 車両システムにおいて、車両が走行する可能性が高い領域を選択して、対応する地図情報を自動運転制御部に出力する。【解決手段】 車両システム１は、高精度地図データから自車両に近い領域のデータを抽出したローカルマップデータを作成する地図処理部３３と、地図処理部からローカルマップデータを受け取り、ローカルマップデータに基づいて自車両を走行制御する自動運転制御部３２と、設定された目的地に基づいて目的地への経路を設定する地図案内部１１とを有する。地図処理部は、作成したローカルマップデータを地図上の領域に対応させて分割して複数の送信データを作成し、自車両からの距離が所定の距離以下であり、かつ目的地への経路を含む領域に対応した送信データを第１送信データとし、第１送信データを他の送信データに優先して自動運転制御部に送信する。【選択図】 図１
