Zusammenfassung:To estimate the state of degradation of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in use with a higher accuracy.SOLUTION: A controller disclosed herein is a controller operable to estimate the state of degradation of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having an electrode body arranged by putting positive and negative electrode sheets over each other with a separator disposed therebetween, an electrolyte, and a battery case with the electrode body and electrolyte encased therein. The controller stores a degradation-estimating map for estimating the degradation of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, which is selected on the basis of the state of impregnate of the electrolyte into the electrode body in the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in an initial state. The controller estimates the state of degradation of the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery on the degradation-estimating map.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】使用中の非水電解液二次電池の劣化状態を、より高い精度で推定する。【解決手段】ここで開示される制御装置は、正極シートと負極シートとがセパレータを介して重ねられた電極体と、電解液とが電池ケースに収容された非水電解液二次電池の劣化状態を推定する制御装置である。この制御装置は、非水電解液二次電池の初期状態における電極体への電解液の含浸状態に基づいて選定された、非水電解液二次電池の劣化を推定するための劣化推定マップを記憶している。この制御装置は、劣化推定マップに基づいて、非水電解液二次電池の劣化状態を推定するように構成されている。【選択図】図6
