To provide an ornamental aquarium that has a protruding aquarium and can further enhance an ornamental effect.SOLUTION: An ornamental aquarium 1 includes: a main aquarium 10 that stores water; a perforated diaphragm 20 that is arranged inside the main aquarium 10 and partitions a water storage region of the main aquarium 10 into an upper layer 10a and a lower layer 10b; a protruded aquarium 40 that is formed with a light transmissive material and stores water above the water level of the main aquarium 10; an illuminator 50 that includes a light emission part 51 attached to a lower part of the protruded aquarium 40 in the perforated diaphragm 20 to illuminate an inner space of the protruded aquarium 40, and electric wiring 52 connected to the light emission part 51 and arranged in the lower layer 10b; a pump 70 that is arranged in the lower layer 10b; and a filtration device 80 that is arranged in an outer circulation tube 60 in the outer side of the main aquarium 10 to circulate from the lower layer 10b of the main aquarium 10 to the upper layer 10a of the main aquarium 10, filters the water of the lower layer 10b sucked by the pump 70, and supplies the filtrate by making it to fall from above the water level of the main aquarium 10 toward the water level surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】突出水槽を有しており、さらに鑑賞効果を高めることができる観賞用水槽を提供する。【解決手段】観賞用水槽１は、貯水された主水槽１０と、主水槽１０の内部に配置され、主水槽１０の貯水領域を上層１０ａと下層１０ｂとに仕切る有孔仕切板２０と、透光性材料により成形され、主水槽１０の水面よりも上方に貯水された突出水槽４０と、有孔仕切板２０における突出水槽４０の下方に取り付けられ且つ突出水槽４０の内部空間を照らす発光部５１、及び、発光部５１に接続され且つ下層１０ｂに配置された配線５２を備える照明装置５０と、下層１０ｂに配置されたポンプ７０と、主水槽１０の外部であって主水槽１０の下層１０ｂから主水槽１０の上層１０ａの水面へ循環させる外部循環管６０に配置され、ポンプ７０により吸引された下層１０ｂの水を濾過し、主水槽１０の水面の上方から水面に向かって濾過水を落下供給する濾過装置８０とを備える。【選択図】図１
