To provide an information processing device and program that can efficiently control the amount of articles to be supplied.SOLUTION: The information processing device includes: a first communication unit; a second communication unit; and a processor. The first communication unit sends and receives data to and from a measuring apparatus that measures the distance from each part inside a predetermined area that includes an article that is transported to a first transport mechanism in the first transport mechanism that transports the article to an external device. The second communication unit sends and receives data to and from a speed control mechanism that controls the transport speed of a second transport mechanism that transports the article to the first transport mechanism.
