To quickly supply a seedling-placing table with a seedling tray without stopping a transplanting operation.SOLUTION: A transplanter 3 includes: a planting device 39 planting seedlings N in a field; a seedling feeder 38 supplying the planting device 39 with the seedlings N; and a seedling-placing table 190 for placing the seedlings N to be fed to the seedling feeder 38, on a seedling tray 189. The seedling tray 189 has on its upper surface a plurality of storage recesses 189a capable of individually storing the seedlings N formed in parallel vertically and horizontally, and on its lower surface groove parts 189b formed between adjacent storage recesses 189a and extending in the parallel direction. The seedling-placing table 190 has a mounting part 190a on which the seedling tray 189 is mounted and a guide part 190b guiding the movement of the seedling tray 189 on the mounting part 190a.
