Zusammenfassung: | To provide a honeycomb filter having excellent heat durability and capable of suppressing the rise of pressure loss.SOLUTION: A honeycomb filter comprises: a columnar honeycomb base material 4 having porous partition walls 1 arranged so as to surround a plurality of cells 2 being the flow channels of a fluid extending from a first end surface 11 to a second end surface 12; and a plugging part 5 arranged at the opening of the first end surface 11 side or the second end surface 12 side of each cell 2. The partition wall 1 constituting the honeycomb base material 4 is constituted with a ceramic porous body. A volume ratio of pores having a pore diameter of 10 μm or less to the whole pore volume of the partition wall 1 measured by a mercury press-in method is 85-95% and the average pore diameter of the partition wall 1 measured by the mercury press-in method is 4-10 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】熱耐久性に優れるとともに、圧力損失の上昇を抑制することが可能なハニカムフィルタを提供する。【解決手段】第一端面11から第二端面12まで延びる流体の流路となる複数のセル2を取り囲むように配置された多孔質の隔壁1を有する柱状のハニカム基材4と、それぞれのセル2の第一端面11側又は第二端面12側の開口部に配設された目封止部5と、を備え、ハニカム基材4を構成する隔壁1が、セラミックス多孔体によって構成され、水銀圧入法によって測定された隔壁1の全細孔容積に対する、細孔径が10μm以下の細孔が占める容積の割合が、85~95%であり、且つ、水銀圧入法によって測定された隔壁1の平均細孔径が、4~10μmである。【選択図】図1 |
