Zusammenfassung: | To provide a non-pneumatic tire and wheel assembly for an improved non pneumatic tire which eliminates the need for air inflation and has all features of pneumatic tires, and also to provide a method of forming a reinforced spoke structure for the non-pneumatic tire and wheel assembly.SOLUTION: The present invention provides, in a first aspect, a non-pneumatic tire and wheel assembly that comprises an outer annular ring 406 having a ground contacting tread portion and a shear band, and one or more spoke disks 400, each of which spoke disks is connected to the shear band and has at least two spokes; in this structure, each spoke has a first leg 410, 450 and a second leg 420, 440, and a continuous strip of reinforcement is received in the first leg and the second leg.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
