SEDIMENT SLUDGE OPENING AND CLOSING GATE

To reduce equipment cost of organic wastewater treatment equipment in food factories and sewage treatment plants, save space, simplify, and facilitate maintenance.SOLUTION: There is provided an activated sludge device that combines an aeration tank containing a carrier for adhering microorganisms and a settling tank in which sedimented sludge settles under its own weight and naturally falls into the aeration tank along a sloping side wall, in which a flow path between the aeration tank and the settling tank can be opened and closed with a gate to control an amount of settled sludge returned, and is provided a settled sludge opening/closing gate that allows a screen to be cleaned to keep the carrier in the aeration tank with a brush attached to the gate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】食品工場や下水処理場などにおける有機排水処理設備の設備費の低減、省スペース化、簡素化、維持管理の容易化を目指す。【解決手段】微生物付着のための担体を投入した曝気槽と、沈殿汚泥が自重で沈降し傾斜した側壁に沿って曝気槽に自然落下する形式の沈殿槽とを組み合わせた活性汚泥装置で、曝気槽と沈殿槽の間の流路をゲートで開閉できるようにして、沈殿汚泥の返送量を調節し、併せて、ゲートに取り付けたブラシで、担体を曝気槽に留めるためのスクリーンを清掃可能にした沈殿汚泥開閉ゲート。【選択図】図３
