To provide an image forming method and an image forming apparatus that can increase a fixing speed.SOLUTION: An image forming method includes a transfer step and an application step. The transfer step includes transferring toner on a photoconductor drum to a sheet. The application step includes applying a fixing solution to the sheet to which the toner is transferred. The toner contains a first binder resin, a second binder resin, and a third binder resin. The first binder resin and second binder resin is a polyester resin, and the third binder resin is a composite resin of a polyester resin and an addition polymerization resin. The addition polymerization resin is an addition polymer of a raw material monomer including a styrene-based compound. The softening temperature of the third binder resin is lower than the sum of the product of the softening temperature of the first binder resin and the content ratio of the first binder resin and the product of the softening temperature of the second binder resin and the content ratio of the second binder resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】定着速度の向上を図ることができる画像形成方法、および、画像形成装置を提供する。【解決手段】画像形成方法は、転写工程と、付与工程とを含む。転写工程は、感光ドラム上のトナーをシートに転写する。付与工程は、定着液を、トナーが転写されたシートに付与する。トナーは、第１結着樹脂、第２結着樹脂および第３結着樹脂を含有する。第１結着樹脂および第２結着樹脂は、ポリエステル樹脂であり、第３結着樹脂は、ポリエステル樹脂と付加重合樹脂との複合樹脂である。付加重合樹脂は、スチレン系化合物を含む原料モノマーの付加重合物である。第３結着樹脂の軟化温度は、第１結着樹脂の軟化温度と第１結着樹脂の含有割合との積と、第２結着樹脂の軟化温度と第２結着樹脂の含有割合との積との和よりも低い。【選択図】図１
