To provide an information processing device which can improve detection accuracy of a position indicated by a target object.SOLUTION: An acquisition unit acquires a distance image indicating a distance to each object existing within a prescribed range. Then, a vector calculation unit calculates a vector extending in the direction indicated by the target object from the target object existing within the prescribed range on the basis of the acquired distance image. Then, an intersection calculation unit calculates the position of an intersection between a prescribed surface existing within the prescribed range and the calculated vector on the basis of the acquired distance image.
