Zusammenfassung: | To provide a belt molding which enables reduction of wind noise caused when a vehicle travels.SOLUTION: An end cap 18 attached to a longitudinal end part of a molding body 17 has: a lid part 31 which closes at least a part of a longitudinal end surface opening of the molding body 17; a cover part 32 which closes at least a part of an opening between a design lip 28 and a vehicle inner lip 29 of the molding body 17; and a base part 34 which connects the lid part 31 with the cover part 32. The base part 34 extends from the lid part 31 in a longitudinal direction along a vehicle inner surface of a vehicle inner side wall part 21 and is at least partially fixed to the vehicle inner surface of the vehicle inner side wall part 21. The cover part 32 protrudes obliquely downward from at least a part of an upper end of the base part 34 toward the vehicle inner lip 29, and at least a part of the cover part 32 contacts with the vehicular inner lip 29 to close a gap between the design lip 28 and the vehicular inner lip 29 in a state where a belt molding 16 is attached to a door panel 14 along an upper edge of the door panel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
【課題】車両走行時の風切り音を低減できるベルトモールを提供する。【解決手段】モール本体17の長手方向の端部に取り付けられたエンドキャップ18は、モール本体17の長手方向の端面開口の少なくとも一部を塞ぐ蓋部31と、モール本体17の意匠リップ28と車内側リップ29との間の開口の少なくとも一部を塞ぐカバー部32と、蓋部31とカバー部32とを連結する基部34とを有する。基部34は、蓋部31から車内側側壁部21の車内側の面に沿って長手方向に延びて少なくとも一部が車内側側壁部21の車内側の面に固定されている。カバー部32は、基部34の上端のうちの少なくとも一部から車内側リップ29に向けて斜め下向きに突出して、ベルトモール16をドアパネル14の上縁に沿って装着した状態においてカバー部32の少なくとも一部が車内側リップ29に当接して意匠リップ28と車内側リップ29との間の隙間を塞いだ状態になる。【選択図】図8 |
