To provide a lighting device capable of illuminating a wide field with high uniformity, which can, for example, emit light with a wide wavelength range from a visible light range to a near infrared light range with a single device under substantially the same condition.SOLUTION: A lighting device comprises a light source unit 12 having a plurality of light sources (20, 22) having different wavelengths of light to be emitted, and an optical system unit 14 that uniformizes the intensity distribution of light from the light source unit 12 and irradiates an irradiation target with the uniformized light.
