Zusammenfassung:	To provide a honeycomb catalyst used for purifying a harmful substance and an environmental load substance in an exhaust gas discharged from an internal combustion engine or the like, in which a catalyst layer having high gas diffusion property is formed to improve purification performance.SOLUTION: A honeycomb catalyst includes a cylindrical cell whose end is opened, and a catalyst composition coated on a cell wall of a honeycomb structure integrated by sharing a wall of the cell. The catalyst composition includes inorganic oxide particles having an approximately spherical shape, and inorganic oxide particles having a tabular shape.
